In Februry 2023 I reached out to my friend Jessica because I was interested in beginning weight training, but did not want to go to the gym by myself.
She recommended I start working with Julianna and Intention Training. I got in contact with her and I’ve been going consistently for six months!
My goal for weight training is feeling stronger physically and mentally and we have challenged both. I had never been to a gym before beginning this program, and am still working on the “gym fear”, but I have way more motivation and encouragement to do it anyway from Julianna!
Six months after working with Intention Training, even with only meeting once a week, I have noticed an incredible difference in my strength and stamina. I had little to none, due to adrenal fatigue, but consistency has been the key to feeling healthy again.
I didn’t know what to expect when I started, and I had this scary picture in my head of what a personal trainer was supposed to be. Julianna is always encouraging, challenging me to get over the mind game, and giving me helpful tips for things to work on at home. I absolutely credit my consistency to her ceaseless encouragement that I can do this!!

I have been working with Julianna Hauser three times a week since October of last year. When I started with her, I had significant back problems, could hardly walk greater than 100 feet without stopping because of pain and numbness and also knee problems. Now I have no back problems nor do I have any significant knee symptoms. She has 10 years of experience in personal training and although she can work with any age, she has worked with many people over 50 including some in their 90’s. She has a college degree in exercise science so she knows what she’s doing. I would highly recommend her to my friends, use it or lose it.

Thanks to the suitcase carry training I was able to carry an 8-pack of Gatorade in each hand all the way from the back of Walmart without any trouble—and then all the way to my car!

I had a bone density scan Tuesday. Results show that I still have osteopenia in the left hip BUT the study showed I had a 2% increase in bone mineral density in L1-L4 vertebrae since my scan in 2020 and shows 5.8% increase in the left hip! I attribute that to exercise this year.
